Does anyone have a spare gear-lever for a 1929 ohc 3 speed box. Mine has broken immediately under the ball and repair is a bit tricky.

This happened on my Semi-sports a few months ago - not heard of it happening before. A bit surprising, as they are quite substantial items. I had mine welded up, but not sure how successful that will be. So if you find two ... !

I did have one come out of the box on a rally in my fabric saloon once - the three small screws securing the holding down plate came loose and were found rattling around on the floorboards! So it is a good idea to check the security of these screws occasionally.
