Hi Folks! The restoration of the above car, pictured, moves on! The mechanics are now done, and someone more skilled that I on bodywork has fixed up the body frame and re-instated the Kopalapso folding roof, the previously missing mechanism of which was supplied by the illustrious Ian Harris of Morris Spares! The issue of paint arises; this car, the very last one of the 1931 models off the line was originally blue. However, I don't know the name or shade of the correct colour blue. All or some of the last of the 1931 models between mid-June and July 17th with the end of 1931 model production came in blue, from all of the prior side-valve models being Battleship Grey. My body man posits that the only blue Morris were using at the time was a dark, Oxford, or Navy Blue. I'm not so sure, please help?
I also please need a rear window glass plus door locks with covers, and any other small interior body fittings like the sliding window securing knobs and catches please? Nigel
