Vintage Minor Register
Inaugural Rally 2001
Our Inaugural
Rally was held in August 2001 in the Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire area.
A tour of
local windmills on Saturday was followed by a Sunset Air Display at the
Shuttleworth Trust
in the evening
with dinner at Old Warden.
On Sunday
we joined the VSCC at RAF Henlow for some very wet driving tests!
Ten vintage
Minors attended the weekend, which was a record gathering at that time.
This was a
small beginning, but it set the pattern for future VMR Summer Rallies -
a full weekend with plenty of variety,
good company,
wonderful scenery and great vintage Minor motoring.
